Making Conference Last Longer

I know General Conference was a few weeks ago, but I've heard a bunch of times that you need to make Conference last longer than the two days it typically goes. We have another 6 months until the next one so we need to make the most out of what we learned from this one. The things that are shared during Conference are for our day and what we need to learn and know about in these days.

One thing I really like to do is read through the talks when the Ensign comes out next month. And they also have the talks on lds.org. For some it's easier to watch the talks, but whatever works for you is great just so you can read the messages. My mom suggested to a group of young women she was teaching that we each have our own copy of the Conference Ensign so we can mark it and write notes.

Within a few months they will probably put portions of some of the talks into Mormon Messages. I love these messages, and sometimes it's easier to visualize and understand what the talk is discussing.

Another great way I thought of that may be a little bit easier for younger kids, is studying the talks during Family Home Evening. You could read smaller parts of the talk, or even watch it, and then discuss it. You may even be able to come up with an activity too!

I hope that you may be able to use some of these activities, or come up with some of your to help you study the General Conference messages. I know from personal experience that studying these talks will help you to improve your life and learn the things that you need to.

Always have hope,

Colby
