Sometimes during the summer I can get kind of bored or lazy during the summer because I'm not busy like during the school year. During these days, I liked to try and find something fun to do. So here are some suggestions of what you can do if you ever have a lazy day!
Do Some Art
I can be on the creative side sometimes! Get out those paints from the closet of pull out the markers and draw something fun! It doesn't have to be anything creative, just find something you like and go for it. Pinterest can have some great art activities, especially for the summer. And if you need art or craft supplies, Hobby Lobby has everything!
Find A New Hobby
We all have something we've always wanted to try, right? Explore some different ideas until you find something you enjoy. Maybe do a new project, or try sewing, or playing a new sport, really anything that sounds interesting to do. You could even talk to others and see if they have any suggestions!
Catch Up With a Friend
Call a friend that you haven't talked to in a while and find out how things are going for the. Tell them about what's going on in your life, and maybe you can plan a time to get together! Sometimes you just need a friend to talk to, and who knows, maybe they were needing a friend too!
Go to the Library
When was the last time you went to the library? Some people might think it's boring, but I've actually found some pretty interesting books in there. If you really wanted to make it fun, you could just pick a random topic, and see how many books you can find about it. The librarians always have good suggestions too!
Do Something Outside
After all... it is summer! And there are plenty of things to do in the outdoors. You could go for a walk or a bike ride. You could play in the sprinklers or have a water balloon fight! You could see how many animals you can find in your backyard. Or you could look for shapes in the clouds!
I hope these suggestions can help if you ever have a lazy day, just remember you can always find something to do. But I always like to remember, even though it's summer you do need some downtime!
Always have hope,
Colby
