I was looking at some pictures from the Miss Amazing Pageant that I participated in two years ago. It was a really fun pageant where I learned a lot about myself and others. I want to share what it entailed and the experiences I had.

The Miss Amazing Pageant is a pageant for girls and women with disabilities. They do fun activities and promote unity and friendship between the participants. And then they also showcase the talents and abilities of the girls, Something that I thought was great was the skills that we got to practice during this. We got to be interviewed by judges and tell them about things we liked to do, and how we had an influence on the community.

I liked that we got buddies for the whole day. I really like having someone to look up to and be an example to me. I loved going in for the interviews and talking to people and tell them about the things I'm passionate about. I also got to be in the talent show and display a cat that I made out of clay in Art.

I also loved being escorted onto  the stage and getting to wave and act like a princess for a day. This was a great experience for me because I don't think I'll ever get to participate in another pageant or thing like this again, so it was fun that I got to do it  in a fun setting like this.
